What to Expect after Surgery
There is some discomfort (swelling, bruising and redness) after surgery facial scar revision. It is advisable to avoid any activity that puts undue pressure on the incision area. Sun exposure must be minimized. It is important to remember that scar tissues require about a year to fully heal and achieve maximum improved appearance.
