My 9 year old dachshund has a runny nose out of his left nostril.?
She usually has a clear mucus plug come out every morning and perhaps one more during the day. It is getting worse now in the early spring pollen. My vet was an infection, then with ivermectin Case was parasitic, and finally he gave steroids to treat the swelling. The steroids worked, but I can not completely eliminate symptoms PF. I was the took them 2 months ago. The symptoms returned. My vet also the nose area, found nothing, and did several biopsies. The biopsies showed something should have been clarified by ivermectin. She felt this was the source of the problem. Although he did not see tumors when its scope, it is thought that this may be the source of the download. Has anyone had a problem like this unilaterally?
Personally I would get a second opinion from another vet.
