are steroids illegal in the united states
Reasons why the good name of steroids should be illegal in the United States.?

I need unique answers, not the health and reasons for custom equity .. I will reward the points who gives a dramatic response. Thank you.

Joe Hess, said it best: "Firstly, I think 100% that the reason that allows steroids is a bad idea. The key is simply the fact that they have proved harmful to the health of athletes. Steroids may increase the risk of a number of problems ranging from premature baldness with an increased risk of developing heart disease, stroke and some cancers (Dowshen). They also make the chance of damaging the muscles and tendons more likely. In 1989, when steroids are just becoming popular in Major League Baseball, there were 266 players that the time spent on the disabled list. In 10 years, that number had increased 31%, and the length of time spent on the disabled list injury was by 13% (cause and effect). These are large increases, and most can be attributed to the fact that the muscles of the players were so great that were pulling out of the bones that could not have them. Hamstring injuries become one of the most common injuries. Based on these statistics, I think it would be unfair make steroids legal and forcing an athlete to choose to risk their health, or give up his baseball career. The second reason I believe that the legalization of steroids is a bad idea because it takes away from the illustrious history of U.S. baseball pastime. Hank Aaron's career home run record, Joe DiMaggio's consecutive games streak with a positive, Roger Maris' single-season home run record, all of them would be considered meaningless if steroids were allowed. Since Roger Maris record of 61 homers in 1961 was exceeded for the first Mark McGwire, then Sammy Sosa, and finally crushed by Barry Bonds when he hit 73. Maris' record has been maintained for almost 40 years and then in the span of 5, had been taken out of the water. Interestingly, all 3 of the players who have spent more than 60 are under suspicion for the use steroids. My point is that even if the legalization of steroids results in a baseball game today, still is not fair to all players who played in the history with records that are prone to breaking. Steroids remove the integrity of the game. He's not the most talented athlete or more workers to succeed, but rather than risk their own health to get the edge now, even if it means trouble ahead. The last reason I believe that steroids in baseball are a bad idea has to do with the message you are sending to teens. Many steroids are illegal in this country, and to do well for players of Baseball is a double standard. By banning these substances tells the children that these things are harmful and should not be used under any circumstances. Athletes professionals are heroes and models if they want to or not. It is important that these models are a good example and show kids that working hard is the way to achieve their dreams, not jeopardize its future. "
